Day-1: Udaipur arrival
Pick up from airport & transfer to the hotel. Udaipur is a beautiful city of Rajasthan, Udaipur, the City of Lakes is well-known as the historic capital of the Mewar Kingdom. The place takes every visitor through the Rajput era. After some rest, in the evening, you can go for a stroll around the Fatehsagar Lake and also see Rana Pratap Memorial. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Udaipur local sightseeing
After breakfast leave for a sightseeing tour around Udaipur. You can begin with a visit to Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. Post that, you can visit attractions like Museum of folk art which is famous for its wide collection of puppets, folk dresses, dolls, ornaments, paintings and folk musical instruments. Later, you can visit the City Palace which is known to be the biggest palace complex in India. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride and Ropeway ride at Pichola Lake which is the star attraction of Udaipur. Overnight at hotel.
Day-3: Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh via Nathdwara & Haldi Ghati
After breakfast drive to Nathdwara. after the darshan, go to Haldighati to visit the Rana Pratap Museum. Then proceed to Kumbhalgarh. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Kumbhalgarh fort & the sound and light show in the evening. The Kumbhalgarh Fort is located on the banks of Banas River and is the second most important fort of Rajasthan. It is surrounded by 13 mountain peaks and strengthened by watchtowers and rounded bastions. Kumbhalgarh wild life century (The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary surrounds the Kumbhalgarh Fort and spans an area of 586 sq km. It is situated across the Aravalli range and derived its name from the Fort. Parts of Udaipur, Rajsamand and Pali districts are covered by this sanctuary. Overnight at Kumbhalgarh hotel.
Day-4: Kumbhalgarh- Chittorgarh (160 kms/ 3 hrs) – Udaipur (111 kms/ 2 hrs)
Early morning you may opt for a jeep safari of the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctury (On direct payment basis). After breakfast drive to Chittorgarh, proceed to Visit fort of Chittogarh. The fort of Chittor is regarded as one of the most outstanding forts of the country and is indeed the “Pride of Rajasthan State”. The formidable fort is perched atop a 180 meter high hillock covering a massive area of 700 acres and is a standing sentinel to the courage and valour of Chittorgarh. It is believed that the fort was built by the Mauryans in 7th century and further structures were added to it by the successive Mewar rulers. Gaumukh Reservoir A deep tank filled by a spring coming from a ‘cow mouth’, situated at the edge of the cliff. It is considered to be sacred where you can feed the fishes. Rana kumbha Palace The ruined edifice of great historical and architectural interest, being the most massive monument in the fort of Chittor. Later get transferred to Udaipur, overnight at Udaipur.
Day-5- Udaipur departure
You will be dropped at Udaipur airport/ station for your onward journey.
